Originally assigned to the Brussels-Brussels Airport service, it was equipped with a first-class compartment and a large baggage car. It was then attached to the Brussels-Midi depot (1955 to 1957) and the Schaerbeek depot (1957 to 1971). In December 1972, the 42 series railcars were upgraded to 43 (deletion of the luggage van and first class), and the 4233 was renumbered 4333. The railcar was assigned to the Stockem (1971 to 1972), Bertrix (1972 to 1978) and Kortrijk (1978 to 1984) depots. It was retired on November 9, 1984.
